We envision a world where every child receives an encore of possibility, the chance to finish school, pursue their passions, and help transform their communities. In Malawi and beyond, this means no child leaving school due to hunger or cost, no teenager forced to abandon their education for work or early marriage, and no student denied their future by circumstance.
Encore For Humanity Programs
Our programs work together to address the most pressing barriers to learning in rural Malawi—starting with nourishment, continuing through access to secondary education, and extending to stronger, more equitable school environments.
School Nutrition Program
Students receive a hot, nutritious meal that helps them stay focused, attend consistently, and thrive. Led by local volunteers—our dedicated Food Mamas— the program strengthens women’s leadership while ensuring that no child has to learn on an empty stomach.
Scholarships for Secondary Education
Our scholarships make secondary education possible for hardworking students who might otherwise be unable to continue their studies. The program covers tuition and essential school costs at Kanjiwa Secondary School.
Classroom Support & Empowerment
We provide the tools and infrastructure students and teachers need to succeed—from solar lighting to basic learning materials. Each project is completed alongside local committees and artisans, ensuring dignity, ownership, and long-term sustainability.
